Course description: United States Government and Honors United States Government is a comprehensive examination of the supreme and fundamental characteristics of the American Governmental system. Its study involves the origins, developments, organization, powers, functions and actual workings and processes of American Government. The course emphasizes political theory, philosophy, and the nature of government. This course is designed to give a thorough knowledge and deep understanding of the Government of the United States which is essential to all Americans.
