This website was originally established as a companion for each of the courses I taught.  However, since I have announced my retirement at the end of the 2010-2011 school year after 49 years of teaching, this site will be looking for a new direction. Obviously I will still be interested in history, government and politics and that will probably still be reflected here. My interest in educational issues will still continue. One cannot just turn off what has been one's career for the last 5 decades. My Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate is good until 2016.

Until the end of  September, I can be found enjoying the sun and surf with my beach buddies in Cape May. Let me hear from all of you and let me know what is happening with your life. If my e mail address changes, I will post it here.  Any suggestions as to what you would like to see on this site in the future will be greatly appreciated.
